  • Why is everyone hating on QTCinderella? It's actually nice to have a sorta "representative" for people who are just new or not that good at chess. Her questions and mistakes in analysis makes the game even clearer to understand since GM Hess answers and corrects her. Even in prestigious tournaments like the Skilling Open or Opera Euro Rapid, one of their hosts is an inexperienced chess player yet a good commentator which is Kaja Snare.

    • I think it's because she was outspoken during PogChamps 2 about the sexist toxicity she experienced from many in the chess community while she was learning. The hating you're reading here might be a more "plausibly deniable" version of that. "Oh, it's not because she's a girl..." Yeah, right.

  • QTCiterella does not seem invested or interested in chess but now tries hard to express her opinion about the moves since she's the commentator and has to. I don't mind if the commentator is not GM or IM but can neutrally express what they feel about the moves at least ( Like Ludwig or Northernlion). Does anyone feel the same or it's just me?

People need to chill, it's Pogchamps, not a world title tournament. • @P Smitty @P no it's not that. He's a streamer that streams a lot (13hours a day or more). He wasn't supposed to play that much chess but he was tired of playing his usual games because people were stream sniping him. So he went like full chess, and since he really likes chess, that's it. It's not only about the pogchamps, he just likes playing a lot

      PoutPout11 күн мурун
    • I think he's just really bad at hiding his emotions. He was fine when he was playing and when he lost of course he was really sad (because he literally gave him the win) which is a normal reaction lol

    • Knowing sardoche's streams, he's the type of player that is ultra-competitive and will grind hours and hours without getting satisfied and when he does mistakes like this he will probably blame himself for the entire night. • why did you have to put spoilers in the thumbnail? :(

    LazloBeatsLazloBeats11 күн мурун
    • @Mabe being maniac in your sense of the word means being crazy. What's crazy (in subjective matters) is defined by what the majority of the people believe. So in this case the vast majority of people deems spoilers as bad so by definition you're the maniac. Also I know of that study. But it is irrelevant since it is a subjective matter, so what matters is what the person thinks the person prefers not what it actually prefers. People dont want to be spoilered it's as simple as that. And if you're a content provider you should cater to your audience thus avoiding spoilers. In reality i feel bad when i get spoilered. And it will factor into my approval of a content provider. And that applies to the vast majority of people. So think of the bigger picture.

      LazloBeatsLazloBeats9 күн мурун
    • @LazloBeats It’s proven that you will enjoy more a story when you know the end. I’m not joking, that’s why people being paranoid over « spoilers » is ridiculous to me, you look like maniacs
